ABOUT

Jen Boudriue
In 2009, after 15 years of growing a business in workforce development as an instructional designer and three years of leading Marlborough's environmental sustainability efforts, Jen Boudrie created Green Workforce Training and two Massachusetts Green/Sustainability Conferences.

With a master's degree in education (M.Ed. Instructional Design) from UMass Boston, she started her career as a part-time college teacher and then became a successful businesswoman in workforce training by designing, directing, and staffing workforce training programs at more than 20 Massachusetts' companies in manufacturing, healthcare, bio-tech and high technology.  She is an expert in workforce development and has presented at 30+ conferences.

Thinking globally and acting locally is something Jennifer Boudrie takes to heart.  After researching and writing the 2006 Energy and Environmental Inventory for the City of Marlborough, MA where she lives, she founded Green Marlborough to work proactively with people on energy and environmental issues at the local level.  She is currently co-chair of the municipal Sustainability Taskforce in Marlborough (population 38,000). (See
www.GreenMarlborough.org . )

Jen's travel/nature/culture global experiences include trips to Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Egypt, most European countries, Canada, USA and more.  She lived and taught at UniJos, Nigeria (1 year); and gave three lectures in Beijing, China (1 month) and one lecture in Alexandria, Egypt (2 weeks).  She seldom travels now to reduce her carbon footprint.

Jen is currently studying for a graduate certificate in Sustainable Development.

Jen enjoys the outdoors.  She married Rick after they met hiking in 1990 and they reside in Marlborough, MA.
